Receipts include sales from the Thais4Life Charity Bookshop, and
receipts from fund

raisers
and donations. In
particular, the Quiz Nights and fund raising functions at La
Cage

and
Oscars, and support from Maisie Trollette, Norman Vernon,
Michael & Steven, and many
|
|
|
|
others,
have made consistent and valuable contributions to the funds.

receipts
is included on the appropriate page on the Thais4Life website.

Expenditure includes overheads connected to the administration
of the Thais4Life Charity
|
|
|
|
Bookshop,
ie Rent, Electricity, Water, Salary, and sundry items necessary
to keep the shop
|
|
|
|
functioning.
Expenditure also includes items purchased for support in
connection with fund raising
|
|
|
e.g.
chairs, tables, lamps, etc. - we have not attempted to amortize
these items.

3.
Outgoing payments to service providers is mainly 60 Baht food
vouchers, useable at
|
|
|
|
nominated
co-operating cooked food stalls and Thai restaurants, for food
only.
|
|
|
|
|
These
vouchers are issued to bonafide destitute Thai persons - usually
patients of Dr Philippe.
|
|
|
In
addition there was a one off payment to Banglamung Hospital to
cover the admission and
|
|
|
|
treatment
of a destitute street man, suffering from TB and complications,
who unfortunately subsequently died.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
4.
The Medical Fund operating in previous years has been closed,
and original beneficiary, Somporn Kulkang,
|
|
has
made no request for assistance recently. However, to protect Thais4Life,
|
|
|
|
|
we
maintain portion of the Medical Fund funds in the General
account now, and these are earmarked
|
|
|
for
the Medical Fund in the event that an emergency arises.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
5.
Detailed accounts and base documents for this financial
statement are held at the Thais4Life Charity
|
|
|
Bookshop,
and are available for inspection on request, at the bookshop,
but may not be removed
|
|
|
from
the bookshop. Detailed
accounts are available monthly in the current financial year,
|
|
|
|
but
will not be published in summary on this website until after
30th April each
year.
