April, 1905
~ Rail Travel – A Goods train, with car attached, leaves Stratford at 12:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays arriving at Traralgon at 3:40.
A Goods train, with car attached, leaves Stratford for Traralgon on Saturdays only at 2:30 p.m., arriving at Traralgon at 5:55 p.m..
~ Mr T. G. Boyd Barrister and Solicitor, (formerly of Chancery Lane, Melbourne) will now reside at, and confine his practice solely to, Traralgon and District. Not connected with previous practitioner of the same name.
~ Dr T. C. Anderson, Public Vaccinator for Traralgon, will vaccinate every Tuesday morning, between 10 and 12 o’clock, at ‘Lyndhurst’, Seymour Street; and may be consulted every Wednesday morning, between 11 and 12 o’clock at Mechanics’ Hall, Toongabbie.
~ Traralgon Private Hospital, Hotham Street. Mrs Ericksen, Matron.. This Institution is open for reception of medical, surgical, and midwifery cases. Both local doctors attend.
~ Mr H. Mowatt the assistant station master at Traralgon, who disappeared so strangely on Monday last, wandered down the Mirboo line on Tuesday morning. The Rev. R. Elliot, of Traralgon, very kindly drove to Yinnar and brought him home the same afternoon. Mr Mowatt is confined to his bed, and under medical treatment for an affection of the brain.
~ Easter Saturday, April 22nd – All the business people have unambiguously agreed to close their establishments on above date. Will the public please remember. J. D. Evans

~ Traralgon Board of Advice – Tenders are invited until noon Monday, 8th May, for erection of fence and other repairs at Traralgon West School No 2847.
~ Gippsland Trading Company, Traralgon – Dressmaking Department. We have handed this branch of our business over to Miss Tatterson who was for some years with a leading Warragul draper. Miss Tatterson is already well known to a number, and we feel sure that she will uphold the high position which she gained in Warragul for stylish and good fitting dresses.
~ Football – The lessee of the Traralgon Hotel, Miss Hall, has very kindly donated a trophy, value of 2 guineas, to the Carrajung Club for competition amongst the hill clubs. It is stated that the trophy must be won twice by the same club. The hill clubs greatly appreciate the sportsmanlike generosity of the lessee of the Traralgon Hotel.
~ A farewell Social to Mr and Mrs Anderson and family will be held in the Upper Flynn’s Creek Hall on Friday 12th. Tickets 3/-. Two drags leaving Traralgon. Refreshments. Good music. Mr E. Bell M.C..
~ H. Redman, Butcher, Traralgon – Begs to notify householders of Traralgon and District that he has engaged Mr G. H. Marsh to manage his business from this date. Beef at 3 pence per pound. Householders will also have the opportunity of selecting their meat from the cart.
